This course aims at providing sound foundation about various welding processes and techniques. The theoretical lecture covered is supplemented with practical demonstration at Sea Reliance hands on facilities. This course is useful for the personnel from all fabrication industries including automobile, power plant and ship building.
Sea Reliance conduct’s training as per IACS UR W28 standards and procedures approved by Indian Register of Shipping (IR CLASS) for 1G, 2G, 3G and 4G positions; and valued member of the Indian Institute of Welding.
– Specialisation in 1G, 2G, 3G & 4G welding skills.
– Hands on practicals on various welding skills, gas cutting and grinding techniques.
– Techniques of pipe flange welding, making pipe bends and elbows.
Upon successful completion of the course, participants will undergo a 3G welding test conducted by the Indian Register of Shipping (IRS). Subsequently, participants will receive a 3G Welder’s Certificate. This certification serves as a stepping stone for participants to upgrade their status to an “Approved Welder” through the classification society, providing them with a competitive edge in the industry.
