Swiss Alpine Diploma in Cruise Ship Hotel Operations Management

This programme is designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills needed for a successful career in the hospitality operations part of a cruise, as well as providing an essential understanding of elements relating to life and work on a cruise ship. In addition to being introduced to the wider world of the cruise industry, its history its players, customers, regulations and concerns such as safety, security, professionalism etc students will be studying specialist operational elements such as front office, customer service, effective communication, IT, Housekeeping skills etc. At the second level of the course the students will enhance their knowledge about the business and management of ocean cruises but also approach managerial issues such as personnel management, organizational behavior and research method at an advanced level. The course will be headed by an experienced professional in hospitality operations on cruise ships and the course will be delivered in our campus. The course includes guest lecturers by cruise industry professionals.
You will also learn how to create the perfect cruise resume, locate leads, meet cruise ship employers and recruiters and develop a strategy to hold this dream job. This course provides future crew members and new entrants into the industry with essential skills to get employment in mega ships. This programme will also give you a valuable insight and cross cultural understanding as well as understanding the financial operations and the marketing and sales operations for cruise lines.
